I was born in Genoa in 1958

I have always been fascinated of naturalism and from 1992 I began to put into practice the Birdwatching, documenting my observations with a camcorder. From 1997 I started to be interested in Computer science and to editing my videos on a computer.

Later I began to need to photograph, so in 2006 I bought a Panasonic FZ30 and immediately I understood that I will never use the camcorder more. I got into the reflex world in the May 2007 with a Nikon D80, and all the photographies published in this site have been realized from this date onwards.

I always photograph only free animals, I don't love photographies realized in monitored conditions and I wouldn't have any satisfation by photographing in a zoo, in a faunistic center or withdrawing animals compelled from enclosure.

I frequent LIPU oasis and natural parks, but most of my photographies have been taken during long ambushes in free zones inside of my mimetic bathing hut.

This ste does not want to represent other that my love for nature and for photography that allows us to isolate an instant of life and to make it unrepeatable.

I thank my wife Antonella and my children Filippo and Elisa that lean and support and that appreciate and share my passions.
